We started our day in D.C. with a ride on the Metro. All part of the experience!

We walked around the city and it was great exercise but even better to see everything. We owe Melissa and Evan becuase they were our tour guides and we couldn't have had better!!! Thanks again guys you are AWESOME!!!! 
We walked up to Lincoln and he was HUGE!!! It was really cool. There were a lot of people but we still managed to get some really good pictures!!! 
Here we are on the stairs of the Lincoln Memorial getting the typical tourist picture!!! The guard leaning on the rail, his job is to make sure no one slides down it!!!
Jacob is becoming much better at taking pictures check out his awesome picture of the whitehouse I might make a postcard out of it!!!

We had a great trip to D.C. well worth the drive!!! We got to see a lot of the city and ate at some cool places we had never heard of. It was fantastic!! We want to go back again because we didn't realize how much there was to do there. I mean you think you can see it all but no way.

Chissy and Jacob, You did look like you were having a ton of fun while in D.C. It is nice to go and see what our capital city has to offer.
Riding the metro is an experience in itself. Glad that you had some GREAT tour guides as well. It runs a lot smoother when you have people who know how to get around D.C.
